Okay…

Who gave the 9 month pregnant chick who is about to go spend a couple of days in the hospital the Robin Cook novel about horrible, quick killing staph (i.e. “flesh eating”) infections being spread in hospitals?  While I am enjoying the novel, it is producing some disturbing dreams and probably not doing a lot for the blood pressure issue.

I’m at 26 weeks and had that book on my nightstand to start reading when once again I can’t freakin’ sleep. Good point – I think it can wait.

Put that book down! I’m in philosophical mode here – Eat, Pray Love and Tuesdays with Morrie were my last two. Almost done with The Book Thief, which I love, but wouldn’t recommend right now (set in Nazi Germany, enough said).Otherwise, go for some sort of beach book!

There’s always “Brown Bear, Brown Bear” to read aloud again and again and again.
