Some days…
Well yesterday was fun! I got some fun new visitors and I was visited by a couple of pretty Big Bloggers and even linked by one. Woohoo! I was cool for a minute. I don’t think I would have time to be cool full-time. I try to respond when someone new comments and check out that person’s blog. I felt like I spent a lot more time on the internet yesterday. (That’s right, once I think of you as a friend and/or regular, you don’t get responses to your comments anymore unless I have something say in response. I’m mean that way.)

Some days, my child is so cute I almost can’t stand it. I can’t believe that there has ever been a child even half as cute as mine is.
On those days, I spend the day taking her photo, trying to freeze her too cute for words expressions. I want to capture just a little of the magic of this age.
Then other days, I need to see those pictures. They remind me of how cute she is when she isn’t whining and hanging off my leg and flinging applesauce on the wall and pulling the dog’s tail and generally making me want to go hide in the back of the closet with my mommy flask.
I hear you loud and clear! Alayna decided last night that she didn’t need to sleep. She woke up at 10:30 and wouldn’t let us out of her sight without screaming bloody murder. Finally, after each of us taking turns lying in her bed and then having her in our bed for a bit, at 2am, we put her in her bed and plugged our ears for few till she FINALLY went back to sleep. Sorry about the long post. Long story short…those pictures of fun times really help to get through the mess!
She is adorable.
Hey, my brother and sister in-law just got word that they can fly to Guatemala next week to pick up their baby!! Yea!!!!! He just turned one, and it has been the longest year of our lives waiting for everything to be finalized.
She is a cutie. Thanks for sharing the pics.
She is adorable!! Oh, and most all of us Mommy’s need a reminder on those clingy/whining days.
Oh, that last one is a keeper! I find it almost IMPOSSIBLE to get good shots of Elise at this age.
Either you have a faster camera than I do or Sabrina is better about staying still!
She is extremely cute. Of course, I think my daughter is the cutest.

The “cute” is what saves mine most days!
You’re right about the magic at this age. I can’t get enough of Pilar right now! And I can see that same little irrisistable-ness in Sabrina.
she is the cutest thing on earth! I love that face!!!
She’s so cute I want to hug her and not let go. Until she starts smearing my shirt with applesauce. 😉
man—she IS adorable…and looks so old there (not haggard. I guess I mean grown up)

I just had to mention that Spencer (who is now 1yrs) saw that photo of Sabrina holding the book from across the room and raced over to the pc laughing. It was really cute.
Just discovered your blog yesterday. Loved the blogging = high school post. You really hit the nail on the head. Your daughter is adorable!! You’ll also cherish those pictures when she is 11 and heading to middle school like my oldest daughter! Where does the time go?? Looking forward to visiting your blog more often now that I’ve found it!
“making me want to go hide in the back of the closet with my mommy flask”
LOL at that one as I sit upstairs on my computer sipping a glass of chardonney. DH worked late, and I was on my own to keep my 18 month old entertained, safe, fed, and somewhat clean. Who knew 2 hours could be so long! Many, many props to stay at home moms, and to amazing daycare workers who chase toddlers ALL DAY!
You’ve got great pictures of your daughter, please, share your tips!
She is so gorgeous! To quote the hippo in Madagascar, “I just want to dunk her in my coffee!”
I find it hard to believe she is ever not that cute (HA then, I think about my own little Guatemalan Prince)!! What a doll she is. I love her expressions.
So, where do you buy those Mommy Flasks? I’m not pregnant—haha!!
She is such a cutie pie, what a great smile she has!!
PS: I’m in the process of adopting my daughter Elizabeth through the foster care system. If you’d like to check out my blog, feel free to send me an email, and I’ll send you an invite.

So cute!!! You just gotta love those little grins 🙂
ok, no argument here about the cuteness factor of those pics!!!
It must be pretty hard to not be able to fill that mommy flask with the good stuff, huh????
I agree with Carla…Miss Sabrina looks very grown up here (more grown up in every post, actually…). *sigh* And, very cute too…LOVE the piggies! Our babies are growing so fast!! : / It’s exciting and sad all at the same time.
God bless.
So Michelle if I comment then you comment back and talk to me? If you would have told me sooner I would have commented sooner. I have been reading your blog forever, but never commented, because YOU seemed like the cool, popular person and I was afraid to be snubbed! Now that I put myself out there I hope I don’t get snubbed : ) no pressure though.
Sabrina is a doll and she always looks so happy!
What a cutie pie!!! Oh my stars!!!
